Lobster Roll
Preparation Time: 25- 30 minutes
500g cooked lobster meat
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 green onions, finely chopped
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
2 celery stalks, finely diced
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter
4 bun/roll
-
- Start by chopping the cooked lobster meat into bite-sized pieces and placing it in a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and lemon juice until well combined.
- To the chopped lobster, add the finely chopped green onions, chopped fresh parsley, and finely diced celery.
- Gradually fold in the prepared mayonnaise and lemon mixture into the lobster mixture. Mix gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to your taste. Remember, the lobster is naturally sweet, so be careful not to overpower it with too much salt.
- In a skillet or pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Open the buns or rolls and place them, cut sides down, in the pan. Toast them until they’re lightly golden and crispy.
- Fill the toasted buns with the prepared lobster mixture, generously mounding it inside each bun.
- Serve your delicious lobster rolls as they are or with a side of coleslaw or potato chips for a complete meal.
